Mr. Hardenbergh,

I am writing this letter to thank you and your staff for representing me in the reckless driving charge that I was facing, for an infraction that occurred on 4 April 2015. Shortly after receiving the ticket, I realized even with my 31 year career serving on active duty in the Army and 6 years serving as a government civilian in the Marine Corps, I faced the potential of having a criminal record because of the reckless driving charge. This also had the potential of impacting my ability to maintain a security clearance, critical for the expertise that I provide to the Department of Defense.

However, your team, particularly Christina Moore, was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process to prepare for court so that they would have all of the information necessary to defend me in court. Christina was totally responsive to my questions and gave me all the assurances and information necessary to alleviate my concerns. The result, as you know, was the dismissal of the reckless driving charge and my relief that I would not have to deal with any potential fallout from a criminal record. Having served a lifetime for my country, it was truly troubling to face the potential of having such a black mark on my name and reputation.

Again, thanks to your team, I can continue to serve my country in an area of expertise that is critical to the protection and survivability of our deployed Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines.
